Strainers are used to collect impurities and particles which can damage valves and pumps. Its recommended to install strainers upstream of pumps and downstream of control valves or any location in the pipeline that is required to prevent external particles to move with fluid.
Sealing rubber is routinely produced up to a temperature of 120°C from EPDM and up to a temperature of 150°C from a special EPDM.
